National Privacy Principles
Under the National Privacy Principles, small business operators (defined as a business with an annual turnover of under $3 million) are exempted from the operation of the new privacy regime. Under these guidelines, Water Rewards is exempted from the National Privacy Principles. However, it is a core business principle of Water Rewards to meet the National Privacy Principles, and Water Rewards's privacy statement is provided as assurance to clients that Water Rewards respects and applies the National Privacy Principles.
In addition to the voluntary adoption of the National Privacy Principles, Water Rewards notes that core company values of user control, transparency and simplicity of operations are also relevant to the protection of users' personal information.
